A collective textbook-guide

Research in International Relations: Applied Methods and Digital Tools

About

Scientific research influenced by the rapid development of AI, requires flexible solutions.
That is why we have created a "living textbook", a constantly updated guide on how to conduct scientific research in international relations using modern methods and digital tools. As technology develops, some information in the textbook will become outdated and will be archived, but we will continue to add new chapters and keep up with the latest developments, expanding our methods as we go.

What will you learn?

  • How is the algorithm of writing scientific papers changing under the influence of technology
  • How to use digital tools and AI tools to facilitate research
  • How to apply a new advanced methodology in your papers step-by-step

Structure of the Textbook

The textbook consists of three sections that are based on real-world examples from the field of digital diplomacy.
If you are a novice researcher, we recommend starting with the first section, while more experienced researchers can start with those chapters that are most relevant to their current research interests. Each chapter provides examples and clearly demonstrate how the proposed methods and tools can be applied. After each chapter, there are exercises, questions to reinforce the material, and recommended readings.
